about us
Dr Terry has been designing and performing hands-on school assembly programs for nearly 20 years. The inspiration began when homeschooling her daughter for a year in second grade. When her daughter returned to school as a third grader, Terry began bringing some of their favorite science projects into the classrooms, and soon IQ Science was born.
Terry also brings hands-on science experiences to high school and middle schoolers through her involvement with Science Olympiad over the past 16 years. Terry served as the Regional Tournament Director for 2020-2022 and is still an active member of the board. Check out www.region8so.org to learn more.
Rupert the Madagascar Hissing Cockroach helps introduce second graders to the world of insect diversity. Sheepy is an expert on plant seed dispersal. And Little Bunny Foo Foo never, ever turns into a goon, showing that solids, unlike liquids or gases, have a set shape which they keep. Rupert, Sheepy, Bunny foo-foo, and the Goon love helping Dr. Terry teach science!
