Newest recruits — hissing cockroaches

I am very excited about our newest recruits in the science education cause:  Madagascar Hissing Cockroaches!  We’ve got a dozen beautiful adults, 2-3 inches in size, who just finished their debut as part of the drama club’s haunted house at Northville High School.  They did a great job of hanging out in the cash box and guarding the money :) Now, they’ve made their home here at IQ Science where they are ready for classroom visits to talk about living things, biodiversity, or adaptation.  I can’t wait to start designing bug bingo and other buggy games to round out their programs!
